DESCRIPTION:Friday – February 7\, 2025 \nElijah Clark State Park – 2959 McCormick Highway\, Lincolnton\, GA 30817 \n10:00 AM – Kick off at the restored cabin and Elijah Clark Museum with a variety of demonstrations on colonial lifestyle\, colonial attire\, a Traveling Trunk display\, and cannon and musket demonstrations.  Authors of new period books will be on hand for book signings. SAR Color Guard members will bring pomp and circumstance to the occasion. \n12:00 P.M. –  A free indoor chili cookout and dessert buffet at noon will be served compliments of the Elijah Clark State Park\, Lincoln County Historical Society\, Chapters Georgia Society SAR; Elijah Clarke Chapter NSDAR.  Noted local historian Mr. Des DeVos is the featured speaker. \n1:00 PM – Please arrive for Wreath Presentation Check-in. \n1:30 P.M. – Heroes of the Hornets’ Nest Wreath Ceremony at Elijah Clarke’s grave.
