DESCRIPTION:The Samuel Elbert Chapter GASSAR\, and Stephen Heard NSDAR Chapter invite the GASSAR\, NSDAR\, and family descendants to attend a Revolutionary War Grave Marker Dedication Ceremony. \nOn October 29\, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. for Patriot Samuel Higginbotham. \nInformation for the Higginbotham Ceremony.\nDirections from Downtown Elberton: (Intersection of Highway 17 aka College Avenue and\nHighway 77 aka N Oliver Street to the Higginbotham Grave) – – Go North on College Avenue /Highway 77 2.9 miles turn left on Brewers Bridge Rd. Go 9/10 miles the Cemetery will be on your left.
