DESCRIPTION:National Event – The 241st Anniversary of the Battle of Cowpens \nThe National Park Service has moved the Commemoration to the Battle Anniversary date. \nTUESDAY\, 17 January 2023 at 10:00 AM  \n(National SAR event) – Held at the monument located on the Cowpens National Battlefield\, 4001 Chesnee Hwy\, Chesnee\, SC   29323 \nThe Park is open but is on limited hours for the Visitor Center and has a limit on the number of individuals that can be inside the Visitor Center at one time.  Masks are optional. \nThe names of the SAR\, DAR\, and C.A.R. chapters would want to register their wreaths need to notify the Secretary of the Daniel Morgan Chapter South Carolina Society SAR No Later Than Thursday\, 12 January 2023. \nThe contact individual for registration is John D. Hoyle at jdhoyle@rocketmail.com \nWreaths will be placed prior to the ceremony.  There will be a single recognition of all presenters.
