DESCRIPTION:National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution South Carolina Society of the Sons of the American Revolution And The General Francis Marion Chapter cordially invite you to participate in the 243rd Commemoration And Grave Marking of Patriots of Buford’s Massacre Battle of the Waxhaws Saturday\, May 27\, 2023 \nBuford’s Massacre Site\, Buford’s Crossroad\, South Carolina \n  \nSAR\, DAR\, CAR\, and SR societies and chapters are invited to participate in a formal wreath laying ceremony at the Park’s US Monument beginning at 10:30 a.m. \nParticipants desiring to present wreaths must deliver them to the Park no later than 10:00 a.m.\, May 27th\, to label and arrange them. \n  \nAll compatriots are encouraged to wear period dress (Continental or Militia). \nWreaths may be dedicated to a unit or group of patriots or an individual patriot. \n  \nTo ensure all participants are recognized in the celebration program\, it is requested you complete and mail your intent for my receipt not later than May 19th to: \nGreg Ohanesian\, Past President\, S.C.S.S.A.R.\, Post Office Box 1373\, Bennettsville\, S.C. 29512
