DESCRIPTION:“One cannot think well\, if one has not dined well.”  Accept this public invitation to do both\, September 21st (Thursday) from 6-9 pm when the Brier Creek Revolutionary War Battlefield Association (BCRWBA) will hold a Banquet at “Statesboro’s crown jewel of fine dining” the Forest Heights Country Club located at 3772 Country Club Road in Statesboro.  Dress is Business Casual\, cost is $35.  Mail your check to:\n \nBCRWBA\nPO Box 603\,\nSwainsboro\, GA 30401The Dinner will be served Buffet Style:  Roasted pork loin with caramelized onions in Dijon wine sauce\, Fried chicken\, macaroni and cheese\, lemon-parmesan herb roasted red potatoes\, roasted broccoli\, southern green beans and garden fresh salad with dressings\, dinner rolls with whipped butter and assorted desserts.  \n\n \n\nDr. John Derden\, Professor Emeritus of History will present the “Treaty of Paris of 1781\,” the formal ending of the American Revolution recognizing the United States as an independent nation.  \nFeaturing colorful Revolutionary Era military uniforms\, the SAR will serve both as Color Guard and flag bearers for the event.
