DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED – \nBattle of Vann’s Creek Ceremony December 7\, 2024\n\nThe Samuel Elbert Chapter GASSAR invites the GASSAR\, NSDAR\, and general public to attend a Revolutionary Ceremony in honor the Battle of Vann’s Creek on\nSaturday December 7\, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.\nat the Walter McNealy Pavilion\, The address for Richard Russell State Park is 2650 Russell State Park Dr.\, Elberton\, Ga 30635.\nThis will be the 14th Annual Ceremony.\n    \nOur Program will be by our Compatriot Clay Ouzts on his recent published book. Samuel Elbert and the Age of Revolution in Georgia.\nIf you do not have a copy of this interesting book it would be a great time to purchase it and have the author to sign it.\n\n    Directions from the entrance of Richard Russell State Park We will have SAR signs at the entrance and the 2 turns.\nDirections to the Walter McNealy Pavilion from the main entrance are go 1.8 miles and bear left on Olympic Rowing Road then go 2/10 mile and turn right following the road to the Pavilion GPS coordinates are 34.160762 / -82.740858.  We will have SAR signs at the entrance and each turn.  \n \nWreath Presenters:\nRegister by November 30\, 2024 to be printed in the program.
