DESCRIPTION:National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution\, South Carolina Society of the Sons of the American Revolution\, And The General Francis Marion Chapter cordially invite you to participate in the 245th Commemoration of \nBuford’s Massacre (also known as the Battle of the Waxhaws) \nSaturday\, May 24\, 2025 \nBuford’s Massacre Site\, Buford’s Crossroad\, South Carolina – Buford Battleground: 262 Rocky River Road\, Lancaster\, SC 29720 – GPS Coordinates: 34.741949\,-80.626124 \n  \nSAR\, DAR\, CAR\, and SR societies and chapters are invited to participate in a formal wreath laying ceremony at the Park’s Monument beginning at 10:30 a.m. \nParticipants desiring to present wreaths must deliver them to the Park no later than 10:00 a.m.\, May 24th\, to label and arrange them. \nAll compatriots are encouraged to wear period dress (Continental or Militia). \n  \nWreaths may be dedicated to the slain at the site\, a unit or group of patriots or an individual patriot.
