DESCRIPTION:Marietta Edcuational Garden Center – 250th Event \nAddress: 505 Kennesaw Ave\, Marietta\, GA 30060 \nOur event will be held on Sunday\, July 26th from 2:00 to 3:30 pm and will be for children and adults.  Our antebellum house and garden will be decorated with bunting and flags.  We will have red\, white and blue plant demonstrations for both children and adults. We will also have 1776 children’s games\, book readings and of course\, popcorn\, lemonade and red\, white and blue ice pops. \nYour participation in any way would be greatly appreciated.  I know everyone would enjoy seeing the muskets and your members in uniform.  And the presentation of the colors.

At least two-dozen Continental soldiers were killed during that battle and are believed to be buried in forgotten\, unmarked graves somewhere on the battlefield. \nThe Delaware Societies of the Sons and the Daughters of the American Revolution requests your presence to honor and remember the soldiers who fell at the Battle of Cooch’s Bridge.
