DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Battle of Blue Licks Memorial Service is on Saturday 16 August at 10:00 a.m.  \nThis National Society SAR color guard event is held in the Blue Licks Battlefield Resort Park near Carlisle\, KY.   Please forward this email to anyone in your chapter that may be interested. \nAnyone interested in presenting a wreath\, participating in the color guard\, or the gun salute should contact Scott Giltner at stgilt@earthlink.net .  If you want your wreath listed in the printed program you should register the wreath by 5:00 p.m. on 10 August. \nPlease indicate if you will be bringing your state flag.  Color guard participants are requested to muster at 8:45 a.m. at the monument on the day of the ceremony. \nThose carrying flintlock firearms will muster for the safety inspection near the lodge at 8:30 a.m. \nDetailed instructions on the color guard and mustering points will be provided closer to the date of the ceremony. \n  \nAUGUST \n16th – Annual Battle of Blue Licks Memorial Ceremony \nLocation: Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park\, 10299 Maysville Rd.\, Carlisle\, KY \nTime: 10:00 a.m. (color guard muster at 8:45 a.m.) (rifle/musket men muster at 8:30 a.m.) \n  \nOn Friday\, 15 August at 4:30 p.m. there will be a fife and drum presentation on the music of the American Revolution.  Attached id the flyer for this event.  Several other events of interest are being planned as part of the greater Battle of Blue Licks weekend.
