Dedication of re-located Revolutionary War Patriot Marker – Bainbridge, GA – 11:00 AM
May 17 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Joel Early Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution cordially invites you to attend a monument dedication ceremony honoring Revolutionary War Patriots who fought for our independence during the American Revolution.
The ceremony will be on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. E.T. at Chason Park, 229 South Florida Street, Bainbridge, Georgia.
This event will feature a traditional SAR Dedication Ceremony for the commemorative marker. The ceremony celebrates the culmination of a project that began several years ago in collaboration
with local officials enabling the monument to be moved from a rural area in Iron City, Georgia to Chason Park, Bainbridge, Georgia, where it was placed in a prominent location for the local
community and visitors to view. The Patriots honored on the marker are individuals who resided in Baker, Calhoun, Decatur, Early and Grady Counties in Georgia following the American Revolution. This dedication ceremony is relevant as we near the 250th anniversary of our independence.
Bring a chair, if needed, and join us for this moment of remembrance and dedication.
Please RSVP by phone or text to (918) 327-1403.
