Flag Placement Ceremony – Marietta National Cemetery – 8:30 AM

Flag Placement Ceremony on above date to be held at the Marietta National Cemetery.  Each year the militia and color guard of the Sons of the American Revolution are a highlight of our event. We expect that 1000+ scouts will participate as flags are placed on the 1800 graves at the cemetery in preparation of the Memorial Day celebration to be held there.

The program on the 27th begins at 8:30 am with the militia firing a 3 volley salute just before Taps is played.  The Color Guard presents the colors at the beginning of the program.
