General Daniel Morgan Wreath Laying – 10:30 AM

State Event – 10:30 AM – Wreath Laying Ceremony at the statue of General Daniel Morgan, Daniel Morgan Square, Spartanburg, SC.  Morgan Square is at the intersection of Church Street and Main Street

Following the ceremony there will be a brunch at a local church.  Time and location TBD

Note: This is the traditional chapter ceremony that preceded the National SAR Ceremony at Cowpens Battlefield Park.  While there will be weekend activities at the Battlefield on both 14 & 15 January, the formal wreath laying ceremony which is the National Event, has been moved to Tuesday, 17 January 2023.  As such, there will be no formal SAR ceremonies at the Battlefield during the weekend.
