Grave marking – Four Patriot Grave Marker Dedication – Elberton, GA – 10:00 AM

The Samuel Elbert Chapter GASSAR, The Stephen Heard NSDAR Chapter and The John Benson NSDAR Chapter invite the GASSAR, NSDAR, and family descendants to attend a Four Patriot Revolutionary War Grave Marking Ceremony. On September 12, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.  Deadwyler Cemetery.

 

 

Information to the property where the Ceremonies will be held.   Ware Rd. Elberton, Ga  N 34.07010, W- 82.95617

 

Directions from Downtown Elberton: (Intersection of Highway 17  and Highway 77  go West on Hwy 17 toward Athens 6.6 Miles turn left on Ware Dr. The road is just past New Doves Creek Baptist Church. (We will have an SAR sign here.) The Cemetery is 2/10 miles on the left.

Directions from Colbert: Hwy 72 at Dollar General go East on Hwy 72 Toward Elberton 16.7 Miles turn Right on Ware Rd.

At Ware Rd. there is a sign for Georgia Stone Products, Broad River Quarry
