SC – 2024 South Carolina Annual Meeting

FRIDAY APRIL 19TH –
2:00 PM – SCSSAR Bench Dedication – The Revolutionary War Visitor Center, 212 Broad Street, Camden, SC 29020
This ceremony will commemorate the placement of the SCSSAR Memorial Bench as part of a nation-wide America 250th initiative. We would encourage all Compatriots with uniforms or period
clothing to please plan on wearing them for this event.
3:00 PM – Wreath Laying Ceremony at Quaker Cemetery, 713 Meeting Street, Camden, South Carolina 2902
Immediately after the Bench Dedication, we will encourage everyone to join us across the street at Quaker Cemetery for a brief Wreath Laying Ceremony to honor the twelve fallen Patriots
recently discovered from the Battle of Camden. This will be a joint SCSSAR event in concert with the Joseph Kershaw and Hobkirk Hill Chapters, SCDAR.

7:00 PM – Dinner Buffet with Guest Speaker Dan McMichael, followed by SAR and Youth Award Presentations
Friday awards banquet attire is Business-Sophisticated for both ladies and gentlemen. That is a suit, military and colonial equivalent attire, or kilt.
