      • Compatriot Jack Ray Bozeman served as the President of the Georgia Society during the term 1995-1996 and as President of the Samuel Elbert Chapter during the two terms, 1996-1998.
      • Compatriot Jack Ray Bozeman led the GASSAR in developing projects such as the first annual ceremony of the Kettle Creek Battlefield Annual Ceremony.
      • Compatriot Bozeman was a retired United Methodist Minister of the North Georgia Conference.
        After graduation from Emory University and the Candler School of Theology, clergy appointments were Asbury, Decatur; Dunwoody; Trinity-On-The-Hill, Augusta; Elberton First; District Superintendent of the Dalton District; Newnan First; first Executive Director of the Simpsonwood Conference and Retreat Center; and Mount Zion, Marietta. His final appointment was as Senior Pastor of Lawrenceville First United Methodist Church.
