• Notes

  In May 1780 enlisted in Henry County, VA, served in Captain Roberts' Company at Battle of Camden. Later served in Captain Jones' Company of Colonel William Washington's Ligth Dragons. He was in the Battle of Guilford Court House and was present at the surrender of Lord Cornwallis at Yorktown. He received a pension for his service.
