- Oliver Crawford, son of William Crawford (see William Crawfrd's (Culpepper County, VA will naming Lucy Alexander as a widow in 1793). Oliver & Lucy were married Oct 24, 1786, Culpeper County, Virginia. The Alexanders (George, Wm, Issac) were settlers of Elbert County in the Coldwater area and Oliver & Lucy came later about 1790-92. Oliver died ca 1792 in Elbert County.
Lucy applied on the 1825 Land Lottery as a widow for Revolutionary War Service. They had sons James, John, William. Oliver had at least two brothers who were Rev. War soldiers. Archelious and Gideon Crawford. Oliver was drafted in Culpepper Co, Virginia.
