      • 1st Wife: Martha Justice, b:1 April 1753, d:circa Sept 1873, Married 12 Sept. 1782. There was a #2 and #3 but that information is not available.
      • According to the memoirs of Henry Park's son, William Justice Parks, his father went to KY to "seek in a new and rich country and their future". However, the Indians would not permit this. They killed his uncle and drove the others out.
      • At the outbreak of the Revolutionary War, Henry Parks joined the "Minutemen" and was involved in many skirmishes with the Tories. He was in the Battle of Kings Mountain. He was shot in the left arm near the shoulder. He served until 1781 under Capt. Moses Guest, Walton Galbreath, Joel Lewis, John Cleveland and when peace was made, he returned to his home in North Carolina. He was granted a pension on his application executed on 3 September 1832.
      • He married Martha Justice in 1782 and lived in NC until some time in the late 1700's, when he and his family moved to Elbert County, GA.
      • After his marriage to Martha Justice, he joined the Methodist Episcopal Church and was active until his death.
      • He died at the home of his son-in-law, the Rev. James Hargrive, Franklin County on 18 May 1845.
      • His grave marked by the Blue Ridge Mountains Chapter GA Society Sons of the American Revolution on 27 June 2015.
