- James Harmon Hair (NN 130646) was a veteran of WWII serving in the U. S. Army Air Corps and was awarded the Purple Heart. Compatiot Harmon originally joined the John Paul Jones Chapter, Maryland Society, NSSAR based on his descent from Colonel Benjamin Cleveland. He later moved to Thomson, GA and joined the William Few Chapter of the Georgia Society NSSAR. and before this death he had filed supplemental applications proving descent from an additional six Patriot Ancestors. Compatriot was proud of his heritage as a descendant of Patriots of the American Revolution.
