- James Nathaniel Pearre (National Number 138322, State Number 2454) ioined the William Few Chapter, Georgia Society, SAR by right of descent from Captain Nataniel Pearre who served as 1st Lieutenant, Adjutant and in 1781, Captain in the 3rd Continental Georgia Battalion. Compatriot Pearre was a lifelong resident of the Augusta area , he served in the U. S. Army, was a retired machinist with the C&WC Railroad and a retired civil service employee.
