      • Willie, age 74 of McKinney, Texas, passed away Arpil 9, 2009, in McKinney, Texas. Willie was born July 20, 1934 in Atlanta to William Ray and Cora Hale (McCain) Walker. He graduated from Sylvan High School in Atlanta and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant at North Georgia College in Dahlonega, Georgia on June 3, 1956.

        He married Marilyn Muncy on April 21, 1959 in Shreveport, Louisana. Willie remained active in North Georgia alumni affairs, receiving the Golden Steeple Award in 2006 for his work with the alumni.
        He was and engineer at Texas Instruments and was a member of the Custer Road United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas.

        Willie as very active with the Sons of the American Revolution where he served as District Vice President for the Texas Society and as co-founder of the McKinney Chapter SAR.

        Willie is survived by his wife, Marilyn, daughters Laura Christopherson and her husband Phil of Nashville, Tennessee and Janice Reed and her husband, Randy of Princeton, Texas; and grandaughter Delaney Reed.

        Willie joined the SAR on December 5, 1997 in the Plano Chapter, Texas Society and as a dual member of the Piedmont Chapter, Georgia Society in 2008.
