      • Paul left a mining community in Missouri to work in Atlanta for Raymond International, a construction company. Six years later, he went to work for Prudential Insuarance Company as a sales trainee in New Jersey. Later Paul was placed in charge of training new agents. After a stop in Asheville, NC, he moved to Atlanta where he later became Director of Marketing. From there he moved back to New Jersey where he traveled extensively nation wide. He would later transfer to the newly established Property and Casualty subsiduary where he served as Senior Vice President. From there he transferred back to life insurange in Jacksonville, FL. He would later move back to Atlanta where he would retire in 1987.

        He is a graduate of the American Life College and attended Georgia State University. He received a Certificate of Estate Planning and a Certificate of Agency Management and completed an executive management program at Princeton University.

        Paul's hobby was Genealogy leading to his membership in August 1995 in the Piedmont Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution. He served the Piedmont Chapter as Secretary, Chaplain and Editor of the award winning Piedmont Piper.
