Jennings Hulsey

Jennings Hulsey was born in 1765 in North Carolina and served as a Private in the Revolutionary War. He fought in the Battle of Kings Mountain. He drew land in the 1827 Georgia land lottery as a Revolutionary War Soldier and resident of Henry County. Patriot Hulsey died on December 16, 1850 at the age of 85 and is buried in the Hulsey family cemetery located on property owned by DeKalb County and operated as the Pole Bridge Water Treatment Station.
