John Colquitt

John Colquitt was born in Virginia and served with his two sons, Robert and Samuel in the 6th Regiment, Virginia Troops, his name appearing in a list of soldiers of the Virginia Line. He moved from Cumberland County, Virginia to Georgia in 1794. He married Elizabeth Hendricks and fathered five children. He died in Oglethorpe County, Georgia in June 1800.
