    Biography Henry Hardin



    Patriot Henry Hardin was born in Johnston County, North Carolina, on May 8, 1750. He served in the Revolutionary War in the North Carolina Continental Line under Captain Smith, Colonel Brevardo and Colonel Hunter. He entered service in October 10, 1777, in Surry County, North Carolina. On his tombstone are the remarks that he served as a 2nd Lieutenant in Colonel Martin Armstrong’s Regiment. Henry Hardin was in Walton County, Georgia, upon its creation in 1818. His first wife was Judith Lynch. His second wife was Sarah Cook and his last wife was Matilda Jones. Henry Hardin passed away on November 12th, 1843, at the age of 93. He had nine children.
